Chris Appelhans
Chris Appelhans is an American animator, filmmaker, and visual artist known for directing the animated fantasy film Wish Dragon and the animated action musical KPop Demon Hunters. Before moving into directing, he built a strong career in animation and visual development, contributing artwork and story work at studios such as Pixar and Blue Sky Studios. His work is known for blending heartfelt storytelling with imaginative world building and vibrant visual design. Appelhans continues to create animated stories that draw inspiration from global cultures, music, and mythology.
