Shawn Hatosy on the Family Tradition He’d Never Let Die | Ready or Not 2: Here I Come
Shawn Hatosy is opening up about the darkly twisted family traditions in the upcoming horror-comedy sequel, Ready or Not 2: Here I Come. The film dives into a family that’s deeply committed to tradition, though their rituals are violently unhinged. Hatosy was asked which real-life tradition he’d irrationally fight to keep, and his answer was surprisingly heartfelt and funny.
“My mom makes an incredible Christmas salad, and, you know, not everybody likes it. If I told you what the ingredients were, you would laugh. It’s got like marshmallows and things in it,” Hatosy revealed. Despite its unusual ingredients, he’s fiercely protective of the holiday dish. “She believes in it, and it shows up every Christmas, and I would fight to death for that.”
The anecdote shows that even actors who play characters in wildly chaotic, horror-filled movies have personal traditions they hold sacred. With Ready or Not 2: Here I Come, fans can expect the same dark humor and twisted family dynamics from the first film.
