Dario Scardapane on Daredevil: Born Again: Exploring Moral Gray Areas
Dario Scardapane is giving fans a peek behind the curtain of Daredevil: Born Again, talking about how this season pushes the boundaries of right and wrong.
Scardapane shares how the show’s writers have fun exploring these gray areas. “You have a lawyer who is now breaking the law and being hunted by a criminal who now represents the law,” he explains. “That jumble of conflicting takes on right and wrong… that’s just fun to explore.” He points out that even in the writers’ room, two writers could interpret the same scene completely differently, and that’s considered a win. It’s all about keeping the story unpredictable and letting fans bring their own perspectives to the table.
For viewers, this means Season 2 isn’t just action-packed, it’s thought-provoking. “If we can have fans watching it and have maybe different interpretations or opinions, we're doing a good job” Sana Amanat adds.
With Daredevil: Born Again, audiences are in for a season that challenges the idea of justice, morality, and what it really means to be a hero.
